A little walk through the village and these Mini oranges all over a great bush. Photographic opportunity came to my mine as I walked towards it, but in a quick noisy second I disturb about 20 house sparrows who were having a feast.
They had to wait a minute for me to take the picture and they were soon back on the bush as I walked away. This is an Orange Pyracantha, also known as Orange Firethorn and can be used as an intruder deterrent because of the sharp thorns. Bet you're impressed with my gardening knowledge. (Shush - don't tell anyone but thank you Wikipedia).
