It's Baaaaaa Humbug with Christmas just around the corner, and the madness has started. I've just been watching the news on the TV and the coverage of Black Friday. This is ridiculous, people fighting and trampling all over each other and what for, a small reduction on a purchase.
There were injuries including a disabled person in a wheelchair that needed medical treatment. Some didn't even know what they had come for. I'm shocked at the greed of some people and it seems to me that people have forgotten what Christmas is all about.
Enough of my moaning, it was a frosty day when I captured this sheep yesterday just along from my home. It may have been cold everywhere for this sheep, but at least he had a nice woolly jumper on.
A lovely capture that made me think of spring. I was just wondering as I sat down for lunch (I am safely at work- no shopping for me) how the stores were going to outdo each other next year. Many of them opened last night. I guess next year they will just skip thanksgiving all together and stay open all day. Very sad.
I think the sheep have more sense than people at the moment. Going into grumpy old woman mode I find it awful the lack of care and manners. When my knee is bad I take my walking stick with me for support - not that it makes a blind bit of difference! I seem to be invisible. I nearly got run over by a disability scooter who just had to get past me as I stood politely to let people coming the other way through. At least your sheep is looking at me like he cares.
Love the look he's giving you. Since Christmas is Turkey Time I get he doesn't have much to worry about. Won't catch me at Black Friday or Boxing Day. Not what I would call fun.
I agree about the shopping. I can't even imagine why people would do that!
