The Pretty Little Periwinkle. by ladymagpie

The Pretty Little Periwinkle.

The spring is sprung, the grass is riz.
I wonder where the boidie is.
They say the boidie’s on the wing.
But that’s absoid. The wing is on the bird.

Yes OK, it's not quite William Wordsworth but I'm really feeling that Spring is in the air and it's time for photography of flowers and birds.

My first is the very pretty Periwinkle, a lovely little flower well suited to the flower boarders. Of course they are in my friend's garden which is beginning to look a picture of health. The only problem at the moment is the lack of rain, so the watering cans have been in action.

Best viewed with the black background.
Great shot and verse.
