I would like to make it clear that no Lions were harmed in the taking of this photograph. (Wink). Isn't it surprising that one of the most beautiful flowers in the gardens or in the hedgerows are the most commonest and a weed.
It's not until you get up close and personnel that you see the beautiful rich colour and the form of the petals of this Dandelion. Gardeners get angry when they pop up and continually dig them up or spray them with chemicals. JUST LOOK WHAT YOUR KILLING, thank god I haven't a big garden.

I agree with you , Heather. The banks and grass by the slip roads on the bypass have been planted with thousands of dandelions and at this time of the year there is a glolden glow as you exit.
