After the horrendous selfie and my celebration, I thought I should share why I love going out into my lovely countryside.
This is looking back on the track I had just come down and into this old wood. As I said yesterday there was a wonderful perfume of wild garlic and all you could hear were the birds singing, I was in heaven.
To the left through the trees I could see a field of sheep and early lambs. Can you understand why, even as a pensioner, I need to be outside. Yes my relatives worry about me and suggest other indoor activities, but you can imagine with the pleasure of walking here, they don't have a hope of stopping me, well until it's impossible for me to do so. What do you think?

Get outdoors. I'm addicted to fresh air. I'm a serious chocoholic but would give up chocolate willingly for fresh air. When I'm cremated my ashes will be chucked into the fresh air up the hills somewhere. Keep going lady.
I heartily agree with all the above. My dad is 80 and still likes to go off on cycle rides, he'd be miserable if he didn't have this freedom. Out only request was that he got a mobile phone and took it with him. Fav, for a pretty picture and your determination.
Heather, I have no idea how "young" you are but my thought is that all of us should do what we enjoy as long as we can. Life is too short to give in to inactivity. Go for it!
You relations have got it all wrong! We need to be outdoors as much as possible! And when you have somewhere as beautiful as this you should enjoy it every day - go out girl and be wild and free :)
