Grass takes Offence. by ladymagpie

Grass takes Offence.

Well I don't mean that the fence has upset the grass, but more of the grass is taking over the fence. Wandering around my neighbours garden this grass took my notice as it seemed to shimmer in the sunlight.

I'm not an expert on grass (that's slang for marijuana I believe), but does anyone know what this is called? Best viewed with the black background.

Thank you for all your comments and FAV.s for my pottery. To Joyce whole thought my dusting was good, I have a secret called cleaning ladies although they are not really meant to touch the pottery. Helen, you have good taste, that blue one cost the most.
Great pun there Heather haha. Nice presentation of the shot.

Thanks for comment re your vase.... I like to think I have a good eye for quality even if I can't afford to collect any more ! I thought at first glance of your photo that it was a Moorcroft !

I love this and the vinetting. There are so many different grasses but I know none of their names. I find wild grasses so beautiful.

This is a beautiful capture Heather. Grass is not easy. My shots never look as good as I hoped they would. Mind you that applies to most of what I shoot. Could be yellow oat grass possibly?
