In between several showers this morning the sun burst out to "Warm the cockles of your Heart". How many can remember that phrase or was that my dear old Mothers saying it. It actually means that it is something that makes you feel warm and comfortable.
Walked along the road to my Brothers home and noticed that the berries are in abundance this year. Not sure this is so good as it means we are due for a harsh Winter, see that's the country bumpkin coming out of me Similarly if you see the cows lying down in the daytime, it means that rain is on it's way, the cows like to save a dry warm spot.
These Pyracantha berries do look bright and cheerful so it's no surprise that it put a smile on my face. View with the dark background and thank you all for your comments yesterday.
Well you found a glimpse of sunshine and made the most of it. Great capture and a fav. There are loads of berries this year and we were always brought up to believe this meant a harsh winter. Unfortunately the long range weather forecast is saying the same thing!
