It's so nice to get out and about again and I just love all the small rivers that come though the valleys around my home. With the heavy rain we have had over the last few days they are flowing quite fast but it's always nice to listen to the water.
This place used to be on the edge of fields but new houses have been built on the left had side and I should think it's lovely to look out on - unless there is flooding of course. Think I'll stay living half way up a hill.

With world weather the way it is lately there is bound to be flooding! Halfway up the hill or even the top of the hill is above tsunami level as we put it! But I do love listening to streams like this!
Glad you're feeling better Heather. I love this shot but wouldn't want to live across the road. Too close for comfort after 2007 I have a healthy respect for even gentle streams! like you we live high enough not to be affected but so many friends and neighbours were.
