Ahoy Shipmates. by ladymagpie

Ahoy Shipmates.

Perhaps Noah was cleverer than we think, he spent months building an ark in preparation for the storms and floods that swept the world. Collecting pairs of animals he saved everything for all eternity.

Well Noah may not be around today, but with all the rain, storms and winds we have had over the last couple of weeks perhaps this old sea-dog has the best idea by living on a boat. He seemed to be enjoying himself chugging down a nearby navigable canal, waving at everyone along the towpaths, what does he know that we don't. Haven't quite worked out the boat name yet, unless he is dyslexic

Thank you for all your comments and FAV for my local pub, for those who asked the food is lovely and they now have a coffee bar as well..
Heather, this gentleman obviously has the right idea about life. We should all be so carefree (I think you might be a bit like this guy on the boat).

I've decoded his boat - PIE-YAK :) So beware all you yaks, if he finds you, you will be turned into pies!! Sounds a bit wet over your side of the world :) Great capture!

Living on a boat, what do you do with all your stuff? Perhaps that's the attraction
December 3rd, 2015
@jomo I would have another boat for all my stuff.

The ship name looks hindi or indonesian but doesnt make sense. After a bit of thinking i'd say EPI which has the abbreviation for the crystal Epidote and Kya for the crystal Kyanite, each assigned to birth signs, in this case gemini & aries which are probably the owners birth signs

I would love to live on a boat but it would need to be a beautifully decorated narrow boat. A nice long on so my possessions could come with me! Lovely shot of a happy boat owner Heather
