With my Forest Green Rovers match postponed in an away match in West Yorkshire, the Guiseley pitch unfortunately waterlogged, I thought it would be good idea to look at one of the local village teams.
As the crowds pushed their way into the stadium, well I saw 3 men and a dog, I decided to take a picture of the main stand and substitute player's bench. As you can see it was packed making the atmosphere completely dead and I wondered what the club's representative thought of the seasons prospects.
He replied "Well the crowds have increased to 10 the other week after we only lost 1-9, but at least we scored". "As for the stand, we are hoping to save up for a tin of paint for improvements as well as add a gutter to stop the rain dripping onto the substitutes sat on the bench".
So there you go, local village football teams are on the up and progress is being made to the stadiums. This is Lady Magpie for Silly News Sport in the Stroud Valleys.
