Reach for the Skies, Natural and Man Made

I've not been out today as it's bitterly cold and wet, at least no snow in the West Country. So here are a couple of captures I've put together as they seem to have the same view from the base of A) the tree and B) the base of an electric pylon. In both cases I was looking for a geocache and looked up to locate any monkeys or wildlife above me,

Well yes it's the UK and we don't have any wild monkeys roaming our countryside, but you never know. There was a helicopter above the pylon which seemed to be keeping an eye on my activities. Best viewed with the dark surround.

Thank you all for you comments and FAV's for the Highland cow bicycle yesterday, and just for information my club Forest Green Rovers beat Lincoln City away by 1 - 0.
A super comparative collage, clever idea. Fav!! 😃

Fabulous diptych, it always pays to look up. Well sometimes it does. The last time I took a photo of the inside of a pylon. I was so busy looking up that I didn't see the spiders web I walked through. Ugh. We get some huge spiders here too, so it was very scary.

I like the way you've captured these shots Heather. Pleased to hear there are no wild monkeys up there. At least the Wild Boar stay on the ground
