Secret view across the Lake. by ladymagpie

Secret view across the Lake.

I suddenly realised this morning that my cupboard of photographs was looking bare, so even though I have a wonky knee at the moment I had to go out to top up the cupboard by using the good old camera.

This morning we have had every season the weather can through at you, sunshine, rainstorms and snow then back to sunshine again. I know that I had to find a view close to my parked car, I did manage to hobble a few yards until I spotted this lovely view through the trees.

I have stood up by that mansion and took a picture in this direction so it was nice to be able to do the reverse. I'm sure that all you professional photographers out there are groaning at the trees in the way, to me it makes it more secretive. View with the dark surround if you have time.
The tree in the way is called framing in my opinion and you are right, it does add interest!

Like it....it does add mystery....my over active imagination is already conjuring up a dark brooding gothic mystery......(I should get out more).....

I like the composition, as it adds to the mystery. And I had to laugh about the weather. Sounds just like Tennessee!

Lovely shot. I agree, it does make it look more secretive, peeping through the trees. I feel as though I should be holding my breath just in case I get spotted.
