Something a bit different from me today as I spotted this car parked just along the road from my home. I first saw it when I went out food shopping and it was still in the village when I came back.
So after a quick rush to put the food in the fridge etc, I limped along the street to see what it was. There were no markings on it but it looks like an old Mazda which has had a lot of alterations, I'm sure someone will put me right.
I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be classed as roadworthy with the suspension that low and the tyres so close to the wheel arches. There are a couple of definite reasons why I wouldn't have it. The most obvious is I would never get in and out of it without help and secondly, I knock my hat off getting in and out of my current car, it would mean I'd have to take it off for this one. Please view with the dark surround and thanks for all your comments and FAVs.
Super capture, it wouldn't like all the speed bumps we have around our town ! Those headlights don't look legal either ?? And I see what you mean about sinister !!
Ha ha I like it. The mud guards seem to be fitted with a pop-rivet. The number plate means it went through a road worthy test, Must have made the changes after it went through the test. Fav.
I have it on the best authority (my motoring journalist husband ) that it is indeed a Masda MX5. It has been kitted out for the race tract and must be horrible to drive on the road.
It looks very sinister. I bet the undercarriage must get terribly damaged if it is ridden on bumpy roads.
I am with you heather I couldn't get in and out of a car as low to the ground as this. I will stick to my Subaru 4wd.
Blimey, my mini cooper causes me enough trouble being so low this car would be impossible in Milton Keynes with all our roundabouts and sleeping policemen!
