Something today that I don't usually do, a child portrait capture. But I just had to picture my Great Granddaughter Esmé, as it's the first time I've seen her since she learn't to walk.
My Eldest Son wanted me to go and look at some silver and antiques at his In-laws old home, in case they are worth keeping, obviously thinks I'm an expert from BBC Antique Roadshow. On arriving my Daughter-in-Law, Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter were there, so 4 generations together for the first time, now that should have been a capture'
Esmé was full of beans playing with everything she could put her hands on. She is lovely but the best thing is that you can give her back to Mum when you're going home for a rest.
Thank you for all comments and many FAV's for the 1850 school. I loved that building.
Esme is adorable
Wow! did not realize you were a great grandmother. Thought you were much younger - somewhere between 40 or 50's.
Now do take that shot of the 4 generations. That is an opportunity not to be missed

@gilbertwood Yes we went forward an hour last Sunday. But instead of losing an hours sleep, I lost an hour during the day and therefore went to bed earlier. Anyway, why are you up so early.
Oh she is beautiful...love those striped socks....and YES, I am always glad they can return home after a visit....I can't keep up with their energy! And you SO need a shot of the 4 generations!
Lovely photo.
Btw. You're too young, Heather, to be a great grandmother... ;-)
