The second day of my nature challenge and I spotted this little bluebells in a nearby hedgerow. They won't be with us for long so I thought they needed to be captured.
I'm sure my picture would have been enhanced by some little woodland fairies in view, but they seem to be hiding from me or not happy with the bright sunlight on their delicate wings. You do believe in fairies don't you, because they help put right all those little problems that seem to happen in nature throughout the year and are then rewarded by little blue hats made from these bells. The story must be true, my Mother told me so.

oh course there are fairies. Heather, look closely on the right -bottom hand side of your photo - there is a gnome or something, you can clearly see its eyes and nose
