Home Grown Iris

I'm always using pictures taken at my green fingered friends garden, well for a change her is one from my own little front garden. I don't think this makes me into a great gardener myself as these beautiful irises just come and go every year.

They are up against the new railings with the window of my neighbours next door, that used to be the village shop many years ago. This is short and sweet today as I have lots of things to do, so I will leave you with this picture of MY blooming good flower. Yes it looks lovely against the dark background, honest !

Wonderful close up - our irises are just coming into flower but are a much paler blue. Think I need to invest in some more interesting colours!
