I don't usually do sky captures but with this heat wave we are having (34°C today) I have been sitting out on my patio late in the evening to try and cool down. The sky was looking quite unusual in the evening dusk so I thought I would share it with you.
I have left the top of the tree in view that sits behind my garage as I didn't want to crop the picture to much so that it still shows the sun dropping down out of view. The heat is really getting to me and I didn't sleep at all well last night, what with an ambulance at 1.30 am going to next door didn't help matters either.
I may be Cook by name but it doesn't mean I have to Cook in this weather, roll on Winter please. Thanks for your comments and FAV's for my lavender, I must get out and about but not until the temperature drops.
those clouds are stunning Mrs Cook! majestic! neat capture. That tree does add to the beauty.
As to the heatwave, never thought you would reach those temperatures! Being in Africa, we reach that often, so you have my deepest sympathies as you melt.

A beautiful and magical sky - well captured. We are expecting record high temps for the rest of the week - makes me really tired, even if I'm only outside for a few minutes. Hope cooler weather comes your way soon, and send it down here.
