Once I had returned from my friends home, you know the one with the beautiful gardens, I decided to strip down to the bare essentials as I tried to cool down from the incredible heat we had yesterday. Don't worry the blinds were closed up so as not to shock the neighbours, or passing walkers, but it did give me a great opportunity to capture this pretty Goldfinch.
I was looking at my feeders through the narrow slits of my blinds when just a few inches from me on the other of the window were a pair of cheerful visitors who were really enjoying the sunflower hearts. I got my camera out and put it careful through the blinds and got this fabulous capture. Obviously the birds didn't know how close I was because if they had seen me they might have fallen off their perches in shock.
Thank you for your usual lovely comments and FAV's for my night sky.
I can picture you Heather, stripped down to bear essentials, peeping through the blinds with the camera......

The mind boggles as to what you are up to behind the curtains! Did you have a cold shower too while you were in the right frame of mind? Certainly this bird is worthy of your good photo!
