I've just popped in to say that I haven't forgotten all you good friends on 365. Unfortunately I have found out that old age is taking it's toll and I have had a few medical scares recently.
I have been cleaning my glasses often over the last month or so, but a visit to my optician has revealed that I have a cataract which needs an operation.
Next I went out to do a cross-country walk to find a geocache. After about 100 yards I couldn't breath and both my heart and lungs were bursting. I knew I wasn't going to get far and returned to my car. A visit to the doctor and he has booked me into an investigation at the city hospital in a months time and given me an angina spray, he's warned me not to risk any serious exertions. Unfortunately the Aspirin a day he gave me as well made me very ill and I had to stop that immediately, thought I was going to explode which could have been very messy.
So all in all the Magpie has become a stay at home bird like the one on my bird table outside my lounge.
Sorry about your plight, and hope all the stops are pulled out to get you back to normal. Glad your outside birds are providing you with indoor photo opportunity. Excellent shot.
Oh dear Heather that's not so good! A bit scary but I'm sure you'l bounce back, your optimism alone will keep you in good form. Just a tweak here & there perhaps! Knew this was yours when I saw the magpie!
A lovely bird - fav for me, of course. I know how you enjoyed your walks and sorry you've had to put them on hold. Take good care of yourself and keep us posted (I have been absent from Facebook lately, but you know how to reach me with an email - we may also need to exchange actual addresses - I enjoy sending a real card every now and then!)
am so sorry to hear! please, please take care of yourself. Even though I live on the other side of the world, I do think of you often, as you are my favourite on 365. I wait with baited breath to read your lovely stories and sense of humour.
Many thanks for all your fav's and comments.
Hope your health problems are fixed real soon.
I've had medical appointments all day today too. Had to see a surgeon in Newcastle this afternoon.
