I know this is just a leaf but it has a little tale, or story. As with all my stories it seems to revolve around a trip to the supermarket and this was just so the other day.
I came out to the car park to put my shopping in the boot of the car and when I walked round to the drivers door I noticed this leaf on the tarmac. It looked very pretty and I thought it would make a lovely picture.
My camera was in the boot so I returned to the boot to grab it, when I came back to take the picture the leaf had vanished, which annoyed me. I searched around but there were many leaves, Autumn you see, but not this nice one.
I then spotted it a few feet away and set it up for the picture. Again after I got the camera out of it's bag the leaf had blown away again, by now I was getting really annoyed but found it again.
I decided to put my foot on it's tail as I got ready to snap the picture, hooray success but what a fiasco, I think I had also gained an audience who were quite amused at my antics. I should have just leafed it there and gone home in the first place.
I think it was worth the trouble to chase this poor little leaf around the parking lot. Glad you didn't get run over. I love the colour and texture. Fav
