It not that Christmas is just around the corner, but I must also feel a bit better in myself, the porch Christmas lights have gone up for the first time in 4 or 5 years. I think with the passing of my Sister Mo and Brother-in-Law Alan, mixed with my own health problems during that period, I just haven't bothered for years. Well the jobs done and although not dark yet they still look pretty.
Well Santa, I've put the signal markers up so make sure you visit on December 25th please. Also that should cheer my little village up a little bit. The ones at this end flash with different colours and change timing. Oh I do like a good flash now and then.
I love seeing Christmas lights - good for you for putting a bit of Christmas cheer in people's lives. And very pleased to hear that you feel well and happy enough to want to put the up.
You're celebrating good & proper this year then Heather! Nothing like a few lights to spread the Christmas cheer! It does take effort to decorate, I was a bit reluctant too this year but gave myself a good talking too & I felt loads better now the lights are twinkling away!
