I have got a terrible large flock of starlings living nearby, and every time I put food out for the smaller birds they bombard the area and pinch everything in seconds.
Over the last couple of years I've come up with various ideas, such as my wok lid over a metal basket and a square cage that only small birds can get in.
Today I've taken an old feeder with suet pellets in and covered it with a frame from another broken feeder. These starlings are real triers, but I think that they might get stretch marks with this frame.
