How my Children Drew a House

Well you saw my new gadget (a Fitbit) the other day, well I've started to put it to work, or should I say I'm putting myself to work.

After 2 heart operations, 2 cataract operations and generally going to seed over the past 2 years, I'm taking myself for a walk, starting around the village each day to let people know I'm still alive.

Today I had to stop at this very old cottage as it reminded me of the type of house my children would always draw. Two windows upstairs and two windows downstairs and the door in the middle. It has a typical old village name of "Ivy Cottage" and must go back to the 1700's. Note the black circular disks which are the outside ends to rods that go right through to stop the walls falling out.

Now I have to stop reading my Fitbit that tells me I've burnt 210 calories and think, can I have a chocolate bar.
You have very much the same attitude to your fit bit as I have to mine 😁. I’m just wondering if 3500 steps equates to a glass of wine.Probably not but what the heck 😂😂. Love the little house.

My kids used to draw houses like this too. Keep walking. We have been out with our walking group today and came home sh shattered, hard work walking on sand

Keep walking. After the walk, try some oreos dipped in chocolate, in moderation.

Wonder what the house was in a previous life? See upper story, left of window, looks like something was fixed or replaced.

Question: is it ground floor and first floor, or 1st and 2nd floor? Or mathematically, 0th floor, 1st floor and underneath is -1 floor.

Nicely captured. I used to draw them like this, too
