In fact the title is slightly wrong, it should say "It's a Merc from the Past". This is a Mercedes 190 from 1956, almost as old as me but in a far better condition. It actually came from South Africa in 1962 and re-registered.
I love to look at these old cars and you can see several of them at Tile Trader (Stroud) Ltd, take a look sometime.
I don't think these cars are in my price bracket, but would love to have a Ford Anglia (with the sloping back window) from around 1964, my first ever car. Maybe a Ford Popular that I learnt to drive in up to passing my test in 1965.
I think a tune to go with this Mercedes should be "Get me to the Church On-Time".
