Due to Covid I have been staying in for most days each week. Today I ventured out for a geocache, below I have copied my log that I wrote:
I was kicked out of my nest by the nest cleaning ladies, so as the weather was better I took to the wing to find this cache. My wings are okay but this old bird is having problems with the landing gear, a very wonky leg.
Landed nearby and took to my feet to locate this one. No problem finding the strange container, I won't spoil it for others, and had some tweezers as was advised. Unfortunately as I was signing the log I dropped my tweezers in the undergrowth, so if anyone finds them they are Lady Magpies!!!!
A few muggles (non-geocachers) about with their 4 legged pets but TFTC in a nice area, SL and dipped my travelling GC's. Managed to take off to return to my clean nest. (No. 917)
I do write some rubbish but it amuses my friends. Just to explain, TFTC is thanks for the cache and SL is signed log. No. 917 is how many geocaches I have found.
This lovely thistle was right next to the cache location.
