My afternoon walk included the climb up this narrow lane. Surprisingly I've lived in this village for 36 years and have never been up here, how stupid to wait to my old 70's years and having wonky legs.
The word UP was appropriate as it got steeper as I reach the end of the lane, but I made it and the area was so beautiful.
This was my longest and best walk so far, even though my old legs felt every step. I did however get some lovely photographs which I will share with you later.
So shall I plan to climb the highest mountain in the UK soon, or stick to my local hillsides.
Beautiful view down this country Lane,
I think your hillsides are absolutely beautiful, why walk up a mountain.
Good for you for getting out on a long walk.
I wondered if you’d be stumped with my pic today.
You’re just ‘in training’ Heather! Well done for walking up this hill.....so worth it though & think how good it is for you!! Ha ha better coming down I think!
