The weather keeps chopping and changing today, one minute I'm getting my bikini out and the next it's the southwester raincoat and hat. The good thing is that it's Monday and the traffic through the village is quite slow, perhaps everyone has run out of fuel.
This was a single horsepower vehicle but was moving reasonably quickly, probable trying to miss the next rain shower and get back to the stables just around the corner.
There are several of these vehicles going past my home, either singly or in 2 or 3 together. Must admit they are less noisy than the Double Decker buses that go through every hour. Now I've never ridden a horse, it would have to be pretty strong to take my weight, perhaps one of those Shire horse might work, the ones that pull the beer wagons.
Anyway I'm too old for that now; I'll just sit in my front garden, weather permitting, and wave to all these lovely riders as they go by.
An instant fav for me Heather , Such unpredictable weather , but this is a delightful scene captured from your own front garden ! and so sympathetically framed and presented .
