Yesterday evening I had to go out of the front of my home to put the food recycling bin out for the morning collection. I stood for a moment and could hear my lovely blackbird singing at the top of its voice, it's sounded beautiful.
I know he would be in the tree on the opposite side of the road but as I looked for it I was taken aback by the silhouetted tree against the sky, as the sun was setting.
When I downloaded the capture I zoomed into the tree picture but still couldn't spot the bird. I suppose looking for a blackbird in a black tree is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
