Another picture from the other day's little trip out geocaching. I'm actually on the Cotswold Way which is a 102 mile walk from Chipping Camden in the North Cotswolds down to the Roman City of Bath.
Again I was stood by a kissing gate and noticed a young couple approaching down this slope with a small dog running in front of them. They were obviously hikers by their rucksacks and clothing.
Suddenly the young lady shouted, "Wait, wait, wait" and put a lead on the dog because they would pass me and come to a main road. I said, "I waited, I waited, what shall I do now". They were laughing by now and told me they were walking the Cotswold Way.
"That great and keep going to your right". I also asked if I should have a treat for waiting. I love putting a smile on people’s faces, or were they just thinking, who is this mad old pensioner.
Notice how different the sky is from left to right. I have been on many parts of the Cotswold Way, and wish I was able to walk the whole 102 miles; unfortunately 102 yards are difficult these days.
This is another very finely composed landscape, Heather. You are so fortunate to be able to walk any part of The Cotswolds Way, that being an area of England that’s No. on my list. Big fav!!
