Well what a surprise, my Christmas cactus did me proud over the Christmas period by flowering right through those happy days. They all lost their flowers straight away afterwards, and I wasn't expecting to see them again to next Christmas or possibly Easter.
What a surprise I had today when they burst into flower again today, just right to cheer me up when I have my hands in the kitchen sink and look through them and the kitchen window.
Now I suddenly had a thought, as nobody loves me anymore, and the only Valentine card I received is the one I posted through my own letterbox for the past 15 years. The plant decided to give me a nice Valentine present.
Ditto with the Valentines cards Heather…Harry never sends cards…I excused him when we were farming as he didn’t get out much but of course he hasn’t got the habit so I still don’t get one!! Ah well it doesn't bother me! Your flower loves you!
