Day 18 word is Pooh
Only had to walk upstairs to the bedroom my oldest son grew up in. When I was little and growing up one of the neighbors was an artist. When I got old enough I babysat her children. For my baby shower she painted this picture for the nursery. It has always hung in his room from nursery, toddler, and teen remodels of the room. He is now married and I wait for my first grandchild to hand over the picture . While no comments are needed for this photo, it sure felt special taking it. So glad for the word "Pooh" day.
The painting is gorgeous and a real look at the characters. A quote to go with this picture: "It's snowing still," said Eeyore gloomily.
"So it is."
"And freezing."
"Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately."
what a grand heirloom awaits the newborn. and here i thought you're a young waif and suddenly you're talking of a married son. you look so young! is that you in the painting with pooh and friends?
