I got a new view of the Capital yesterday when I walked out of Union Station. Okay not much different from the front or back view from this angle but I am always in awe. Between the station and the Capital you walk through a lovely park with fountains and beautiful tulips blooming everywhere.
I got some wonderful amazing news yesterday. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in DC had a "Show us Your Blooms" photo contest. Out of over 140 entries they chose mine !!!! I won an overnight stay in their 1900 sq.ft. Jefferson Suite plus dinner for two . Can you say night / sunrise shots of the city !!!! so excited
