Got an early morning text from Bob "don't forget it's Earth Day". Guess I need to come up with a picture . With two places in mind thankfully I choose the closer one. Went to take a test shot out the window of car and NOTHING. Crap forgot I took the battery out of the camera early this morning to charge and extra battery is also home in a different camera bag. Went back home grabbed battery and headed back now in the rain. Thankfully the rain was ending as I arrived back but very cloudy now. This is a water tower in Germantown, Md. that is painted to look like the earth. There is a radio tower, fence and trees right there. I took a few different points of view. Most including the tower and trees no matter where I stood. I zoomed the lens as I was walking back to the car and this was my view (no crop). Yep, I think that works :-)
Happy Earth Day everyone no matter where you live I believe it is earth day, well unless you live on another planet.
This came out great, Leslie. Wonderful tribute for Earth Day. We sure all need to work together to take care of our wonderful earth. Too bad it does not work that way but at least our part of it. Oh, my sons laptop computer decided it would have some problems as well so went and bought a new iMac desktop. Hoping it has a long life. He did all the set up for me. Now to learn the new iPhoto and the new operating system.
