Stopped at Blackwater Wildlife Refuge on the way to the beach. This turtle was in the road as I entered the refuge. I found a place to park and by the time I got back he had made it into the field. Good thing because he was huge and I'm not sure I would have had the courage to pick him up.
That is a BIG turtle! Looks like a snapping turtle!! Do you know what kind it is? Those are some big claws on those feet too!! Not too sure I'd pick him up either! LOL FAV!
