Best Of The Best

Today was the Ocean City, Md. airshow and boy oh boy what a show. I loaded up my beach cart with my two cameras, lens, tripod, cooler, beach towel, beach chair, and kindle. ( Thank goodness for wheels). Got a prime spot arriving two and a half hours early. Show was three and a half hours long. Top 3 must haves on a 85-90 degree sunny beach day.
1. suntan lotion (lots of bright red spectators)
2. a hat (I think I would have died without a hat)
3. water ( hydrate,hydrate, hydrate or a visit by the medics)
What a day ending with a meet and greet with all the pilots from the airshow and fireworks at the Ocean City Downs Racetrack/Casino at 7:30. Debated whether to go but so glad I did. If you think these jets look amazing and hot you should see the pilots.....

@amandal yes will do it again next year and try to improve. It was actually Sat. and Sun. (Sunday repeating Sat. with the plane order a little different but I just couldn't make myself go day 2. Seven hours in the sun Saturday did me in plus my left side ached from holding my 150-500 mm lens. Took me a few minutes Sunday morning to figure out why it was sooooo sore. I feel bad I wimped out on day two.
