I love my Target dogs and look forward to unboxing them in December. Somehow the white one with the hat went missing last year and since I wasn't home last year for christmas and didn't put much out I thought he just ended up in a different box. I unboxed everything this year and no dog. Maybe he fell out the van window when I got all their pictures at the park two years ago but I really don't think so. Long story short I googled Target Dogs and found him on eBay Monday. Offered half what the guy was asking and he accepted my offer. He arrived today and the family is complete again.
It was worth the effort--this is a wonderful composition. My daughter had a real-life Target dog once, but he always ran away, and the city would charge them for it, so they surrendered him back to the pound. He was incorrigible. Perhaps your wayward one was too! @laurielizard
