Was so disappointed trying to get pictures last night out my hotel window because no matter what I tried I couldn't get rid of the glare off the glass. Well, this morning I thought I'll use my husbands black jacket and shield the camera that is on my tripod and woo hoo it worked! My wired remote was fished from under the jacket and I was set to go. Focused, locked the focus, held the jacket so each side touched the glass on either side of the camera and pushed the wired remote. It kind of reminded my of those oldtime photos where they got under the black draping, pushed a remote and held a flash. Thank goodness no flash because I don't have 3 hands. LOL
What a great way to solve the problem! And you've not only got a wonderful composition (no glare!), you painted a wonderful picture of your getting that photo!
