The Eagle Has Landed by lesip

The Eagle Has Landed

The temperature soared to almost 80 degree today and at 3:30 I decided to throw the kayak in the van and head to the lake. Last year the lake was still frozen solid. Boy was I surprised to see an eagle fly over and land in a tree. I paddled over to try and get a shot but he had the sun directly behind him darn. He must have read my mind because he took off across the lake landing in another tree right by the water. So off I paddled again to be rewarded with a few shots before he decided our game of follow me was over.

Because of the very warm temps the Cherry Blossom Full Bloom date has moved from March 31- April 4th to next weekend. Four friends have already let me know about the date change, like I would miss it . LOL
