A crack was found in the pool last season. We just happened to be there on the day the refinishers showed up. I sat on the balcony watching these very skilled artists. Their shoes were very interesting. They had the whole pool and baby pool knocked out in 3 hrs. Looks like it will be all ready for the new summer season.
@grammyn they have a metal plate on the sole only connected at the toe end. The metal plate has two thin metal runner blades. It just makes little slices when they are stepping in the wet cement . When they reach or bend the blades stay on the ground since the heels of the shoes are not connected to the plate.
