So, I did not go and elected to pretty much stay glued to the tv all day. I really wanted to see it and knew that wouldn't happen if I went. Hard to believe it's over well really just beginning. God help us.
Fabulous composition. My husband wanted to go to the inauguration as well, but he didn't get the day off. Glad we didn't go. I was worried about violence and it did turn violent. People have lost their minds.
I am very worried. Also about some developments in Europe.
I think the cause lies in so many injustices - the wealth in this world is concentrated in very few people. This world is rich enough that everyone could live humanely. If there were clean water, clean air, good medical care, healthy food, decent housing, education, fair pay and a future perspective for all people, there would be less despair, fear, hatred, confrontation, war and refugees. Politicians have a big responsibility: They should not split a society but unite.
