Not a tattoo fan at all, this is a great find and shot though. It is a typical Japanese Samurai scene. Tattoos are very popular there and they have some incredible artists.
It is amazing art but i have to confess my thoughts follow @maggiemae It must have been something to see with a kilt as well! Were his legs also covered in tats?
Very colorful artwork... great photo... though I am not a fan of tattoos. I am always reminded about a story a friend told me who works at a bank. A customer covered in tattoos came in to check on how much money he had in the bank... while she was looking it up they were talking about his tats... he said he had spent a little over $7000 on his artwork thus far. She found his account. He had about $3 in the bank. Sigh. Hope he could afford to feed his family if he had one.
