Hill Cattle

The cattle still haven't been taken indoors for the winter yet but it can't be long now. Still quite mild but very wet and windy today.

Not immediately obvious but there is a calf on the other side of his mum having a feed.
Yes I can see too many legs for it to be one. Hardy creatures & it looks quite dry, not much bogginess on that hill side. They will be healthy animals up there!

@777margo It really depends on the weather and when the grass starts to grow in the spring. April is the bench-mark but a mild winter and start to Spring could see them out earlier
