You can do one of two things

You can go get the ladder, put it in the tree, climb up high and take a photo of the the top of the Magnolia blossom, or you can stand on the ground and take photos of the bottom of the flower. I opted for the latter, we pruned this Magnolia tree last year and every flower this year is very high in the branches! The flowers are gorgeous, I'm hopeful at least one will be easy to photograph during their blooming season.

They do make a wonderful show when they are flowering. We have port wine magnolia bushes in our garden and they smell wonderful when they flower.

They are very pretty to photograph but I'd be with you on the ground unless I found one lower to the ground too. I like the colors of this shot.
