When I visited the farm at Trout Creek to feed the pigs, these girls were singing like no tomorrow! They each lay at least 2 eggs a day and their owner sells them to the restaurants in town. Evidently they are just the best eggs ever. Smile.
I loved the kind of trilling sound these girls made, they were a lot of fun to look at and listen to. I of course tried every way in the world to make the chicken wire fencing disappear but gave up and just shot them, fence and all. Their owner has quite the business going, we peeked in the gen house and there were some gorgeous large brown eggs in some nests.
