The Grand Teton mountains reflected in Jackson Lake

Our road trip took us from Yellowstone National Park to Grand Teton National Park. One of the iconic Grand Teton photos is this one, and I have to say I was not thrilled with the orange buoy floating in the water! I'm sure it is important, I am also sure the folks who put it there are not photographers, smile.
Superb, incredible view

Wonderful capture of those awesome mountains and their reflections. Shame about the buoy but it certainly does not detract from this wonderful image. Fave.

Wow! This is so beautiful, love the reflections. It looks so tranquil! Could you have photographed a different section to have avoided the buoy? Or may be from a different angle? But as others have said, it really doesn't detract that much.

What a view! The Arkansas Retired Teachers Assn. has the Tetons on their trip list for next year - sure may try to do that one - looks gorgeous! Fav

I sort of like that little pop of orange in the iconic scene. It's a stunning panorama with or without it! Instant fav for the beautifully framed scene and great reflections. BTW, you could clone out the orange...I use content aware fill in PS when something like that is really bothering me in a scene.

@taffy Thank you! I will write your PS tip down for the future. Henri actually did remove the buoy and emailed the photo to me. There's nothing better than the supportive ways of 365er's! @henrir
