I knew there was a reason I wanted to read the Sunday paper on the patio. This fellow needed a little help getting out of the pool. I guess the urge to go swimming outweighed the common sense voice that said "if you get in that pool, you won't be able to get out". So I grabbed the pool skimmer and scooped him up. He headed right for the Lantana, he didn't even say thank you. Smile
Thank you so much for your comments and favs, you put my little swimmer on the pp! My son said Mom they make stairways you can attach to the side of the pool so critters can get a drink. It seems to me the chlorine in the water is not a good thing to make so easily accessible though. So I'll just stick to my pool skimmer badge and get the occasional frog out that way.
We put a ramp in our pool after one of our dogs fell in and was unable to get out. I thought it would also be useful for all of the other critters who fall in. So far the only critters who use are the hornets, who regularly sit on it while getting a drink. Like you, I continue to rescue the rest. Great photo.
