On the side of one of the Kinesiology Sports Management buildings at Tech, this swimmer and her bubbles were quite eye catching. The artist used sports balls of various sizes as the basis, then made them out of an impervious, colored material. In West Texas, “impervious” is the key word as it gets blisteringly hot in the summer and they have rolling, black out dust storms in the spring. My granddaughter is focused on becoming a physical therapist so she would spend the majority of her time on campus in this group of buildings.
Interesting artwork. I did not figure out what it was until I read your commentary and even then it took me a few seconds to see the swimmer on the red balls!
Thank you all so much for your comments, I appreciate you taking the time. Your comments put this on the PP. Thank you!
