Wasn't that a wonderful event? I was amazed to see it small beginning as we stepped outside. Most fortunately the weather was mild, so we took our photos, chatted and drank coffee...nice to live in southern climes on a morning like this!
@Weezilou It was our once in a lifetime “Moon Trifecta”! I woke up at 4 and started going outside to see the progress. It was in the 40’s here so I didn’t stay out. It slipped out of sight for me long before the “blood” phase, but what fun to capture it on this important day.
Excellent. No blood moon, or blue moon or moon of any kind here last night. After weeks of clear skies, it decided to rain yesterday and last night all we saw was thick cloud.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments and favs. It was a great event for those of us in the eclipse zone! You put this on the PP, thank you!
