Lori’s Granddaughter Felicity loved this cactus when she stayed with Lori this last fall. She loved it so much she knocked it off the table and broke the pot, a couple of times (she’s two and a half). Miracle of miracles, it is blooming more than it ever has; we’ve decided Felicity's hands on loving was just what it needed.
@beryl Isn’t that table pretty? This photo was at Lori’s home, I did tell her if she ever gets tired of that table I will take it off her hands. @happypat Yes, Lori re-potted it twice last fall! Smile.
This is a beautiful blooming Christmas cactus and I love the table! My Christmas cactus started blooming again this week...I was really surprised when I saw the blooms. Felicity must have the magic touch when it comes to plants. :-)
I was going to comment that that is the prettiest Christmas cactus I've seen,,,such big gorgeous blooms! So funny now to read you caption...funnier still that I wondered "how clumsy Felicity must be that she managed to break the pot twice!" Now the song, "The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane" comes to mind! Such a sweet story LouAnn!
Beautiful cactus and table - they are so complementary together! Felicity probably knew the cactus needed to be re-potted when she knocked it off the table!
I’m so sorry for my late thank you for your great comments! I loved all of them. This cactus is living proof that severe pruning and putting plants in “time out” really works! 😊
