Our Blue Jays are quite the bossy birds. This fellow dived and swooped at the other birds who were having a drink at the birdbath. Once he had it to himself he stood on the edge daring them to come back. He’s an aggressive Jay for sure.
Such beautiful birds! So wonderful that you have them visiting your yard! I've never seen a Blue Jay here, only Scrub Jays and I think they're somewhat dull compared to Blue Jays. From the look this one is giving you, he does seem to have a bit of attitude. :-)
